Summer Yoga in Spain 2019

During this week you’ll deepen your yoga in a beautiful environment.
You can simply indulge in yoga, swim in the ocean and recharge with healthy food and beauty treatments. We do our yoga on a magnificent yoga roof overlooking the entire Mediterranean. After our yoga session, we eat breakfast and dinner together. During the days you can spend time on the beach or at the “your” house pool area, or do excursions.
If you are a virya yoga teacher, you can count on the journey for updating hours! (20 hours)

The yoga is led by E-RYT Josephine Selander, one of Swedens most prominent yoga teachers and the yoga teacher, as well as the physiotherapist Robin Tåg. We practice virya yoga, which is a dynamic yoga form with a focus on biomechanics and philosophy. Every other morning we’ll have two hours in-depth yoga class, and every other morning the classes are more dynamic. In the afternoons we’ll have work-shops, meditations or classes.
Josephine has written several books on yoga. Both Robin and Josephine train yoga teachers for the Nordic Yoga Institute in Sweden, Norway and India.
Our fantastic chef, Jo from the UK, is committed to sustainable cooking that is, and local with inspiration from the yoga practice. She has many years of experience in cooking in yoga contexts and mixes her knowledge of ayurvedic, vegan, and raw-food preparations with different with flavorings from all over the world. Essentially we eat vegetarian with the Mediterranean spices, but sometimes we also eat fresh fish purchased from the morning fish market. (Notify when you book in if you are a vegetarian and/or have food allergies, and we will arrange beautiful alternatives for you). Often Jo will spoil us with tasty desserts, homemade sourdough bread or smoothies. And sometimes wine pops up to dinner from one of the neighborhood’s vineyards.
Come with family
Since the accommodation is in houses in the area where our yoga center is located, you can come with family and friends who are not craving yoga. If so, they’ll only pay for travel and accommodation (not yoga and food).
Wednesday afternoon and evening are free. Then there is the opportunity to go to the ancient city of Cartagena, with its beautiful Art Nouveau architecture and magnificent Roman amphitheater. Maybe shopping and dinner at one of the city’s excellent restaurants is in place?
On-site massage and SPA therapists are available to book during the week. You also have the opportunity to book a physiotherapist at a reduced price with Robin.
What is included?
– Part in a double room, with access to the kitchen.
– Twelve yoga classes: 90 min or 120 min (note: Saturday class is 60 min).
– Breakfast & Dinner (not dinner Wednesday.)
What is not included?
– Train or plane ticket
– Dinner on Wednesday.
